"Woman suffering"-this is the most utter misconception which Taslima and other non Muslims harbor about women in Islam, do you know the realities? It was Prophet Muhammad who has emancipated woman from the clutches of pagans, during Prophet's period new born girls were buried alive, they were made slaves, they were seen as bad omen, they were only sexual objects, they were only for sexual gratification. But when Islam prevailed woman got her rights. In an age when girls were buried alive Prophet announced (in a Hadith): Who so ever raises at least two girls giving them all the happiness during their child hood and then marries them to a good pious person then such a person will be with me in the heaven like the index and middle figures of mine.
Islam is the only religion in the world which gives right to inheritance to girl from her parents(which Indian government is now thinking to adopt as a Law for the emancipation of woman, which has been done more than 1400 ago by Islam). Islam is the only religion which gives a girl right to Meher (marriage contract money) from the groom and not from the bride. Islam has prohibited any form of dowry from the bride. Islam is the religion which makes it mandatory for a man who divorces her to take care of her even after divorce by giving her maintenance. Islam wants woman to get education Prophet Muhammad has made it mandatory in a Hadith by saying, “It’s compulsory for all Muslim Men and Women to acquire knowledge.” Islam makes woman safe guarded by resting the responsibility of running a house on man’s shoulder, it’s the responsibility of husband to cater to all the needs of his wife if he is not capable of doing so then Islam says, “do not marry”.
Now go by UN statistics you will find American and European countries toping the list in the women rights violation not the countries which are having most Muslims population. Now who is subjugating a woman? Today in the world only Iran, a Muslim country, has the most organized Women army. Today in the world the rate of reversion to Islam is more in women then in men, if Islam subjugates woman then why it is so? Which truth you or Taslim Nasrin is talking about?
Taslim is an ignorant, immature, impulsive, desperado, pornographic writer who enjoys writing about her childhood and adulthood sexual fantasies. No doubt she can be a pornographic writer in a secular and democratic India but she can not give such references to revered figures and she can not propagate pervert by writing obnoxious and ludicrous views. In her book "Lajja" she criticizes the Islam, and defends the right to practices such as sex outside of marriage. Do you like your sister, wife or daughter to have sex outside of marriage?
In the same book she also propagated falsehood and tried to quote a verse of Qur’an by distorting the truth, it goes like this: “Why should Eve always control her desire, always check her step? Throttle her thirst...Eve, where ever you find forbidden fruit make sure that you taste it.” In the above lines she is not only trying to give a subjugated impression of a woman but also she is telling her to break all the laws. First of all the verse which she tried to quote doesn’t only talk about Eve but it also talks about Adam of course Allah warned both together to not to taste the forbidden fruit, then why she has only talking about Eve and not Adam? What impression she wants to give-a subjugated picture of a woman? The verse’s there in both the Qur’an as well as the Bible. And why she is inciting a woman to do what’s forbidden? If you incite the publice to break a Law in India, will the Indian authorities be silent? Suppose if you break the smallest law and enters in a lane which is only one way, will the traffic police constable pat you or fine you? And if you refuse to pay fine will the police man garland you or slap you and put behind the bars? Imagine if Taslima propagates falsehood, pervert and suggests women to break the laws then why she should be let off? If she is at all interested to talk about woman in Islam then let her come and debate,let her go and do the social work.No freedom is absolute and every freedom is controlled by the rule of Law of the Land.If tomorrow in the name of Freedom of Speech I insult or abuse your father,mother or sister will you pat me or slap me?

Islam is not the religion to protect women from getting their rights. Moses and Jesus started it. Islam was not necessary after Buddhism , jewism and christianism. You are biased in your words. You practice not to use the 'word' only in your letter plz. Do you follow your religion properly?? I am in every doubt. i think that you by your letter trying to convert other people's belief. Follow your own religion properly, only then you will find Taslima as a great human being.

What ever you have written has no evidence to prove anything.What ever you stated is just a crop of boggling mind.Speak truth and produce proof for what you say untill then even if you say Taslima is your "GOD" then I don't have any problem because it's your personel assumption. I would like to ask you will you suggest your female family members to practice what Taslima has written in her book Lajja, "she criticizes the Islam, and defends the right to practices such as SEX OUT SIDE OF marriage." If I am biased in quoting Taslima's book come forward and disprove it.
I am sure you can not do it. As for your telling that Islam was not "needed" after Judaism,Christianity then why it's the fastest growing religion on the face of earth.Why the largest reverts in the world are in Islam.If Islam doesn't give right to women then the highest rate of reversion is in women?Why is Islam is the second largest religion of world today and soon it will over take Christianity.
What ever you say untill you do not speak with proof is null and void.So I suggest you to read his book and make your mind with truth and sincerity.Then you will find the truth.
I would also like to add a few points here: Why should we give citizenship to such a controversial person is she a Nuclear Scientist that we would get some thing out of her?
Can she write a book on the attrocities on women in Gujarat and Nandigram?
